It's story time. If the course lasts just one day, participants are asked to create a rhyme with a protagonist that can be mounted on the spinning mechanism. The rhyme will be written on a sheet or on one side of the box. The secondary characters and scenes will be placed on the box's surface and the front and back, like a real stage set. In longer courses, participants are asked to create a story and divide it into various scenes, each representing a key moment of the story. For each scene, an automaton will be created, and at the end of the workshop, each participant will tell the entire story, setting all the automata they built in sequence into motion. Alternatively, the same box can host various mechanisms and moving characters, telling the whole story in a single box.Â
